About Me
Hi All!
My name is Helene Langlamet. I am a recent PhD graduate from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.

Before starting my graduate program, I worked as an after school French teacher and a freelance tutor. Believe it or not, my favorite subject to teach was the SAT. I found the best way to approach it was to encourage my students not to take the test too seriously, but to treat it like a puzzle where the key was to understand how the test makers thought. Scroll down to learn more about my approach.

Graduate admissions coaching can be very expensive. While I am cutting my teeth, I am offering reduced rates. Keep in mind, if you take this process into your own hands, just a few sessions can make all the difference. I am here to support you in this part of your journey, and hope you will choose to work with me!

Preparing for a standardized test is all about pattern recognition and repetition: You take a practice test, look over your answers, extract rules from the answers you got wrong, then repeat the whole process again.
I can provide guidance on how to write clearly and persuasively; how to make your audience progress toward your point of view; and how to convince them that what you want to do really matters.
